For most of the second half of last month, I was in China. This trip I brought my 17 year old daughter. It was her first trip to China; it’s always fun for me to take one of my kids and see their impressions on a culture that is completely different than ours.
We flew into Shanghai, then went to Qingdao, Shenzhen, and finished in Hong Kong.
Here are some pictures of our trip:
My daughter in from of the hotel in Shanghai
Me at a factory that makes dental products
At a meeting with my business partners in Qingdao
Steel molds at a factory that makes plastic products
A CNC Router at a factory in Shenzhen that manufactures wood products
A meeting at one of the factories
Queen Victoria Harbor on the Kowloon side of Hong Kong at night.
I always enjoy going to China. Although the trips are for business, my business partners there are good friends, if not my family in Asia. Having good people like that to work with makes all the difference in the world when it comes to working in China.
